It is one thing to be thankful, which is wonderful, and another to be in a state of awe, which is even more profound. When we are grateful for no reason, then we are in that state of awe. For example, if you have ever gone walking and stopped to listen to the birds and enjoy the beauty of nature, then you probably contemplated your surroundings and felt grateful and blessed for everything in your life. During that time, you were in a state of awe.
